UX Designer
PulseCare Health — Product Design
Description
PulseCare Health runs a telehealth platform connecting patients with primary-care physicians, therapists, and specialists across California and Texas. We are hiring a UX Designer to improve how members book visits, manage prescriptions, and understand their care plans. You will run lightweight research (5-user interviews/month), map journeys, wireframe in Figma, and pair with two product engineers to ship. Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) is non-negotiable — many of our users are 55+ or managing chronic conditions. Hybrid: Tue–Thu in our SOMA office, Mon/Fri remote. Occasional travel to Austin for quarterly design sprints.
Requirements
- 3+ years designing digital products with a shipped portfolio
- Strong Figma skills — components, variants, auto-layout
- Experience with healthcare, fintech, or other regulated domains is a plus
- Comfortable facilitating user interviews and synthesizing findings
- Authorized to work in the United States
