Description
Ironforge Industrial Supply is one of the largest distributors of MRO and industrial components in the Midwest. We are looking for a Sales Manager to take ownership of a six-person inside sales team focused on mid-market manufacturers across IL, WI, IN, and MI. You will run the daily cadence — pipeline review, deal coaching, forecast cleanup — and partner with operations and product to remove blockers. About 70% of your week is coaching and unblocking your team; the remaining 30% is working strategic accounts directly with your reps to close. This is a hybrid role: three days a week in our Chicago office (West Loop), two days remote. Quarterly travel to customer sites and trade shows is expected.
Requirements
- 4+ years in B2B sales with at least 2 years managing reps
- Track record of hitting team quota in a transactional or mid-market motion
- Comfortable building forecasts in a CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot)
- Strong written and verbal communication; able to coach a call live
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
