Description
AeroForm Dynamics builds industrial inspection drones for utilities, agriculture, and public safety agencies. We are hiring a Mechanical Engineer to design airframes, mounting systems, and payload enclosures that survive real field conditions. You will work in SolidWorks, run FEA in ANSYS, 3D-print prototypes in our shop, and join flight tests at our Renton proving ground. Projects move quickly — concept to first flight in 8–12 weeks is normal. On-site at our Seattle-area campus (South Lake Union). Lab and shop access daily.
Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 3+ years designing structural/mechanical assemblies
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or Creo and basic FEA
- Hands-on prototyping mindset — you have used a mill or at least a drill press
- US person status required for ITAR-related work
