Description
Vaultline Payments processes card transactions for 14,000 US merchants. Security is the product. We are hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our 24/5 SOC rotation — triaging SIEM alerts, running phishing simulations, and partnering with engineering on remediations. Typical work includes reviewing CrowdStrike detections, tuning WAF rules, documenting incidents in our runbook, and presenting a weekly threat summary to leadership. You will not be buried in compliance paperwork alone — about 60% of the role is active detection and response. Fully remote. On-call rotation is one week every six weeks with comp time.
Requirements
- 2+ years in SOC, IR, or security operations
- Hands-on experience with SIEM (Splunk, Sentinel, or similar) and EDR tools
- Understanding of cloud security basics (AWS or GCP IAM, VPC, logging)
- Security+ or CySA+ certification, or equivalent experience
- Clear written communication for incident reports
